My gun to catch 'em all! Mauser Europa 66.
      #321036 - 30/10/18 12:18 AM

Good morning Gentlemen,
After a long and difficult research, i have finally found my holy graal.
Mauser Europa 66 in 9,3x64, outstanding weapon in superlative condition.
Bought at an incredible price... The same price of a plastic Bolt action... What the Hell!

I'm on a cloud.
Doc.

Dotchicco
I can't open your photos either, you should upload them again.
Anyway, congratulations on your choice as M66 are excellent rifles; I have been owning two of them in 7x64 and 8x68S since the 70's and they are the most accurate rifles I have on shelf.
With regards to the choice of the caliber you may now need to import buffalo and brown bear into Italy, if you don't want to blast our common European roe deer, red deer and wild boar. If you only buy commercial ammunition, I am not sure you will get a wide choice (RWS only sells two types of bullets in 11,9 grams/184 grains and 19 grams/293 grains) but if you reload you would probably have a wider choice of options.

Brenneke also offer a 247 grain and a 293 grain.

I can't open them, either.

This photo sharing site works: picr.de . They now require registration, but there is no charge to use their basic service.

I had posted complete (easy, free) instructions previously, they have now changed to an even easier system where you simply 'drag and drop' your images to post.

1) Go to picr.de, translate if necessary (it's in German but is very to use even if you don't sprecken Deutsche).

2) Go to your stored images (with picr.de still open, both displayed on your screen) and 'drag' desired photo to the shaded area on the picr.de screen. Repeat as necessary for additional photos.

3) After picr.de lists the url's of the photos, highlight them, press 'control - C'. They are now ready for transfer.

4) Compose your post on NitroExpress, go to and click 'Image', delete 'http//' highlighted in box. Press 'Control - V', then the 'OK' box which will transfer images to your post.

Your images will post for all to see.

Above image posted with method described (picr.de).

This is my third Mauser Europa. I have one in 8x68S, 7x66 Vom Hofe and now 9,3x64 Brenneke. I'm an avid reloader, and i'm already working on good delf made ammos.
In a few i'll test it on drive hunt.
Stay tuned..
Doc

Three great and non-standard classic choices of chamberings.
