Mannlicher marked scopes

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about these Mannlicher marked scopes? The below link is not the scope I have, I have a fixed 4x. I cannot find any country of origin on my scope, but the link states Austria. I don't have an 80's vintage Steyr catalog, but curious if anyone has run across these scopes before

With that red 'ring', it looks rather like a Simmons that I put on a new 1894 Marlin .44 in the late 1990s.

I believe that the ring is gold and is just reflecting the red background.

It looks very similar to a Tasco world class that I have in the same power and size. The power ring is exactly the same.
