Might be fine in your area, but here, that is almost $300.00 overpriced here, IF those were Canadian funds, they are not, so the money is relative.
Has the stock been repaired or is that a line from a slip-on recoil pad?

That is a stock extension. And it is at least $300.00 to high here to.

That's not a very good comparison being the stock has not been butchered and the gun in general isn't in the same condition as the one from simpson's. Simpson's keeps raising the price on each batch of Imports that comes in. One of their sales people told me that there were going to keep raising the price until people stopped buying them.

With the stock "work", if perfect everywhere else, that rifle might being $275.00 Canadian $$. Less, if the bore is 'slightly dark' or there is a crack at the tang.
I do not like to be negative about these old Husky's, I love em, but that is too much money, imho.
