the .622 Snider ENP
      #315353 - 17/04/18 04:39 AM

just for the case another one came with the same idea I have a new wildcat that was created by me the first time now. for scientific research I worked with a .577 snider case, necking it up to get a cylindrical case
its only a basic case for me that will see heavy changing to become a complete different case for another obscure oldtimer.

now a .15,8mm /.622 bullet fit into this

the only 15,8 mm bullet I had was the Model 1848 Dreyse spitzer cast from a new mould

.577 bullet looks like small bore now

600 NE barrels have a .620 bullet diameter, right? so if anyone need this you can load the .622 Snider ENP to 500 m/sec with nitro powder and get a fine wild boar cartridge.

dont forget I am the inventor

Nice!

As always, it is fun to see what's happening on your loading bench.

Fun round.
That is quite the "picket bullet" shape and would be easy to load in a muzzleloader with a cloth patch, providing, of course, for correct size. The shape is about perfect, but would need a guide bullet starter and maybe a rod with proper shaped end, with a bore sized knob to hold it correctly.

to tell the end of the story thats what the brave snider case ended

giving no further details because its secret project but this is a 15,8x35 rebated rim and with this special bullet it hold 70 grains BP
