Looking for brass
      #310596 - 18/01/18 01:47 PM

I am looking for some 8mm label brass. It can be used or new,Boxer or Berdan primed. It is currently unavailable in the US and they don't seem to know when it will be. I may have asked this previously but I am also looking fora few pieces of 30R Blazer. will be happy to pay for the Brass and the shipping cost. Thanks for your attention.

Wayne - did you try Buffalo Arms? I assume this is the one you checked out on new availability.

I couldn't help but notice they have a wide range of NE & other oddball brass as well.

Not looking for loaded ammo looking for brass. Going to use it to make 41 Swiss Vetterli Daryl the last I checked they were out of stock and there prices were to steep. The only way I pay there prices is when its something that I can,t make from existing brass.

I have a couple rounds of .41 Vetterli in my collection (box of rounds), but they are rim fire. On one, the paper patch is missing off the case neck.

I have already made some out of 348 win brass but they are a lot of trouble to make. The gun is so much fun to shoot that I would like to make about 100 more cases and I cant come up with any more brass. Maybe some one on a military collectors forum.

One thing about the .348 brass, it is hell for stout!

Which makes it a lot of work, for sure.

It works for lots of conversions but is also tough to get right now.

Wayne,
There is some 8mm Lebel on Gunbroker. I found it using “hotchkiss” in search space. Hopefully that’s what you’re looking for. Some of it is loaded rounds.
Ron
