Hunting pheasant in England?

An elderly gentleman I know is interested in driven pheasant in southern England. He's been doing this in Scotland for some years, but feels the travel to get up there, with transferes via Heathrow etc is getting to be a hassle. Thus his interest in southern England.

Anyone have any good tips?

If you can get your hands on the Evan's "Good Shoot Guide" you could probably find some possibilities.

Erik,

if your friend enjoys pheasant shooting in Scotland why doesn't he consider direct links? Unless he needs to travel by scheduled airlines, smaller carriers like City Star Airlines do direct links from Oslo to Aberdeen, probably much quicker than going to Heathrow and much less red tape. Get him to do an internet search on carriers.

I am not recommending City Star, I know nothing about them but they popped up during a quick search. Might be worth investing an hour looking for Scottish airports like Prestwick, Glasgow or Aberdeen.
