From what I can make out of the translation, these are WW2 photos of Steyr built vehicles of the Slovak Army (under German control).

The Pinzgauer is still in production, but not by Steyr. The rights have been sold a few times and the vehicles are now produced in the UK by BAE Land Systems:

From his 1926 expedition (gotta love the 'net!):
This, from the same 'site, does not attribute the trucks.
Tough to identify as the grilles, badges, and such are pretty well blocked from camera view. The overall size and shape looks rather like GM product of about 1940.

There is a film of Almasy with Steyr trucks were 2 wheel drive pick ups, on a safari ,whether they were special order from Steyr [Model 20 or 40 ?] ,was on TV here years ago on SBS ,''Swimmers in the Desert '',might be on you tube

I don't get the lingo, but the trucks at 7:00 and at 10:02 look a great deal like Ford Model A of the 1930-31 type.
The 'shoveling stuff under the wheels to get out of a spot' footage at 7:00 could just as well be me in Northern Arizona (Ma Nature's sandbox) with a Willys CJ2A a decade and such ago.

Pinzgauers imo suffer from too narrow width and the Centre back bone ''chassis'' makes them susceptible to rollover easily ,lack of articulation ,apart from that good ,video on you tube of one constantly rolling over ,and doing a complete 360 ,but then driving off again

Iatalerei still make a 1:35 scale model of the tracked "Raupenschlepper". I had one when I was younger.

The 6x6 version the Kiwi Army had in the Solomons did not seem to lack articulation. Went where ever the 6X6 Landrovers did.

Got it. The glimpses of trucks in a shed and of the fuzzy side view on a bridge could still be (mis)taken for a Ford, but the view at 0:15 of the truck coming staight at the camera are clearly not.

This 1931 Steyr Type 30 looks rather like the trucks in the YouTube video, but I haven't yet found an image of one in light truck form:

Interesting photos of the Haflinger including a early PC photo of a Haflinger with a black fella in the back. I couldn't imagine many blacks being around in the Austrian country side in the seventies.

According to the book I have on Laszlo Almasy, he drove,worked for the Steyr Automobile Works and Steyr wanted him to go to Cairo as their Rep ,to establish Steyr as a Brand name in the Middle East and Africa ,in 1926 used a Steyr Tourer from Cairo to Aswan ,in the following year Steyr sent several vehicles including experimental vehicles to Cairo for a Exhibition ,some being 6 wheeled.
In 1929 ,led a group of Hungarian Hunters as well as his friend Prince Fredinand of Lichenstein and Rudi Mayer filmmaker ,through Kenya ,Uganda ,Sudan and Egypt Taking two Steyr XX pick up trucks .It wasn't until later that he used Ford Model A s
