The horns’ final score of 216-3/8 Boone and Crockett points edged out the previous world-record ram, which was hit by a vehicle in 2010 in Alberta and tallied a final score of 209-4/8.

Average male lion wanders over the park boundary, is killed by a paying hunter and the world loses its shit over it and the World record Bighorn is killed by a driver and nobody even bats an eye over it.
Time to ban vehicular travel through habitat like this, right?
Saying this in jest of course but jeez,..

As of today, March 1, 2018, that Bighorn has been officially declared the new world record by the Boone and Crockett Club. As Ripp said, its' official B&C score is 216-3/8 points and it has horn lengths of 48-3/8 and 49-6/8 inches and base circumferences of 16-3/8 and 16-4/8 inches....

Lord! How I wish I could have seen that animal alive! I bet he was a sight to see!!!
