Look a bit like the Woodleigh Weldcore and if they work as well, they will be very successful.

That is good news for those who use Hornady bullets or loaded ammo. Me I'll stick with my Woodleighs.

That's great news !!!!!! I used their original "DGS" 10 years ago in Africa and it was junk . 450/400 bullets blew up on everything I shot, no penetration at all. Hope they have their problems fixed.

bwanabobft don't you mean "DGX" rather than "DGS"? I've never used them but I understand the DGS solid is a good bullet. I've got some loaded up for my 375 H&H in case an elephant wanders thru my suburban back yard so I sure hope so.

I used a .375", 300 grain DGX of original vintage on a Siberian brown bear. He was about 20 feet away and closing when I hit him. It went in on the inside of the right shoulder and crossed him completely to exit the hip. So it did the job. The Hornady dangerous game bullets are electroplated with 50 thousandths of an inch of copper over a steel jacket. I find the copper fouling with these bullets to be severe. The Woodleighs', with their gilding metal jacket cover, are much less prone to foul barrels than the Hornadys'. I don't like copper jacketed bullets because of this; I much prefer gilding metal for a jacket.

'Twould be nice if they'd offer these again:

They have the proper profile for the rotary magazine of an M1910 Mannlicher Schoenauer (9.5X57 - .375 Nitro Express Rimless 2.25"). The MS is rather particular as to what it's fed.

Think woodleighs and other higher quality bullets, IMHO, are worth the slightly higher cost.. This is just one more reason mentioned in Albertan's comments ... another reason I have really liked the Swift's as well.. cost more..but, quality is worth it..
