That's what I thought as well. The wood on that silly bauble looks like Bakelite for one thing and the engraving like it was done by a junkie.

I wonder how it shoots...

...wonder what the history behind the rifle is, and whether the rifle was purchased for as an investment or merely to fancy the buyer...

...this is definitely within the realm of functional 'art', and should be evaluated accordingly, imho...
