What's the modern fancy pancy shooting stick that you are using? What no black powder?!

PS Well done.

"A tale of two foxes

From a distance, Don could see that the red fox was chasing something across the snow. As he got closer, he realised the prey, now dead, was an Arctic fox. For three hours in temperatures of -30 degrees Centigrade Don stayed at the scene, until the red fox, finally sated, picked up the eviscerated carcass and dragged it away to store for later. In the Canadian tundra, global warming is extending the range of red foxes northwards, where they increasingly cross paths with their smaller relatives, the Arctic fox. For Arctic foxes, red foxes now represent not just their main competitor – both hunt small animals such as lemmings – but also their main predator. Few actual kills by red foxes have been witnessed so far, but it is likely that conflicts between the two mammals will become more common.

Don Gutoski, Canada"

That was almost a LONG time ago, John. It was about 83 or 84. 34 years old then. WOW! who'd have thought I'd make it another 33 years?

That moose weighed in at 675 pounds in quarters, no head, no guts, no legs below the knee and no hide.

Tooth info came back 11 years old IIRC. Came in to the the previous calling, just as we were finishing lunch. Came right to the camp.

I .458'd him in the forehead - 95 yards.

My wife Anna got a nice buck Antelope 2 weeks ago.
30-06, Custom Mauser I made for her.
165 Gr Hornady inner-lock. 250 yard shot, perfectly placed behind the crease of the shoulder.

Marinaded Antelope steaks on the grill tonight.

Goat hunting last month on Kodiak. Notice that it's tied to the rock at the top of the photo. The trekking poles are also being used to hold it. It was steep.

I think a bison's shoulder mount would be HUGE, perhaps too big. How are they usually displayed?

I actually have one in my trophy room..not really much harder to bigger to hang than something along the lines of an eland..

Nice moose, BTW - likely noted that on your original thread on it.
My bro and friend attempted to get their quads across a river up here at high water and faulty motor and had something similar to A Missouri Boat Ride. It did not fair well for them, although no one was hurt.

Those links didn't work either, Casper. Getting an opaque O with a - through it.
