What do people think about h-4350 and a 300 grain swift a frame as a mixture for the 375 H+H

H4350 is as good as any for top loads in the 375. Only problem with the powder is that you HAVE to use a drop tube to get published amounts in the case. I find it to be a major PIA when doing this.

H4350 has been great in my 375s (3 of them). I just received 8lb of it.
475guy is right, to get the published max in the case (@81gr), you will need a drop-tube. BUT I've been able to reach acceptable velocities in my 375s with significantly less powder than the max load. So I say that you should definitely back off 10% of max load when working up a load.
My target velocit is about 2500-2540 fps (I personally don't see a need for extra wear & tear of the advertised 2650fps) and I'm able to reach my target velocities with 74-76gr of H4350 depending on the bullet used.
Overall, it gives good velocities at great pressures and it's about the slowest burning powder that you can get enough of into the case - vs the 4831s.

Another powder that I have had great success with is Reloader 15, for both 300 grain Barnes X and solids and 235 grain Barnes XLC and Speer Hot-Cors.

ditto for Reloader 15, my chosen load is with Vhitavuori N140 which seems very close to R15. 70grns giving me bang on 2500fps with various 300grn bullets including solids. Very forgiving powder. One of my favourites.

I have had my best luck with IMR-4064 and old standby with 375 shooters, and RL-15 is probably my favorite powder over all....It just depends on which one works with a certain rifle, as to which I choose.

I use imr4350 and have shot three bullets thru the same hole useing this powder at 200 yds [270gr bullets]. So its real acturate. and I get 2710 fps with 270 gr bullets and with 300gr bullets I get 2600 fps.

I have had great luck with H4350 AND 270 BARNES TRIPLE SHOCKS. I have settled on 74,5 grs. only because at 79 grs I had problems with the bullets being pushed out before I could crimp them. with a 200 yrd zero I am 12 " low at 300. 70 grs of H4895 give about the same drop at 300 and is listed as a 2700 fps by barnes. How do you guys deal with compressed powder charges.I am useing lee collet dies and can't seem to get enough neck tension.

You might try the Lee Factory chrimp die. Or use RL15, it has room for more than my Max. load.
