Took the crew out fishing last weekend about an hour from my house.. great weather and awesome fishing.. We hiked into some upper mtn lakes...

Great looking place to be even though it looks like it could get a tad chilly in winter!
And green, oh so green!!!
Your daughter is using a modified Somali hold on that rifle I see.

Yes in the high country it can certainly get cool..at its coldest will get to -20 to -40F...sometimes even colder..
But normally 10 to -10 on average in the higher country in that area...
Keeps the riff raff out..

Well, no hot tractor cabs here today..suppose to be a high of 32F..rained/snowed over night..driving to work was like a skating rink...
I need to find a happy medium...not to hot, not to cold..thinking high mtn desert area perhaps..
OR just continue to go somewhere for a month during the winter..
