think the material alone could cost 1400 today, excellent deal










"This is a custom single shot .700 Nitro Express made by Donald M. Matheson of Leamington, Ontario Canada. The barrel is 26.5” long and the bore is awesome. There is strong rifling and a shiny finish inside. The twist is about 1 in 21.5”. The serial # is 003. On the right side of the receiver is “PD Farquharson”. The PD stands for Public Domain denoting no patent infringement. This custom rifle comes in a fitted wooden box with cleaning rod, screw drivers and ammo with their respective boxes as well. The tools have what looks like bone or ivory handles. The grip cap looks to be made of horn and recoil pad covered in a leather material. The flip up leaf rear sights are graduated in 100 yards. The owner’s manual is not with the package. Shipping will be paid for to the continental United States by us.

Please review the pictures carefully. This rifle and container are in excellent condition. There is just a bit of discoloring on the receiver as if the silver needs polishing. No rust or other damages of note.

$1400.00 USD Scam? Joke? Fishing for intetest? Hosing somebody in a divorce?
I'd have only done a face to face or a US Post Money Order so that it became a Federal offence if the guy tried to burn you.

I would be all over this gun and was hoping it was the same guy I just recently bought another gun from in Durham.
That one was many times the cost of this one and honestly a bit of a nail biter. Especially when the seller emails "I got the check today and will ship it when I get back in town"
That was a hard wait, I can tell you!
