Carcano barrels
      #302335 - 24/06/17 06:34 PM

Finally picked up my little Italian job, 1942 27" barrelled Terni 6.5 Carcano (....already sporterised and with a " field " side mount )and the barrel doesn't appear to have the little threaded piece connecting the barrel to the action......did they change these in the later models ??
My intent is to re-barrel it with an 18" .264 barrel in 6.5x54MS and full stock it.

Sorry cannot help about the shroud as I do not know. These, I've been told, use the .268" diameter Hornady RN, made especially for them.
