No matter where one is other than high alpine country one of these will be handy in everyone's kit especially in Africa etc

You or I (?) posted on that about a year or so ago when it was being developed. Had big potential in the third world where any sort of clean drinking water can be a big issue.

A wonderful product if it works and is cheap enough.

Well apparently it does work..I have had a drink out of some horrible waterholes in western nsw at times and would have loved one at the time.

They were demonstrating their products at the Dubbo show earlier this year. The guy on the stand said they were looking at the African countries.

Every pack should have one.
Heres one being used a couple of years ago. Dug a soak and came back an hour later, water was scarce! tasted awesome.

I have also used them along with several others...some where the water looked so bad I didn't want to look at it....never got sick and kept me going...Agree--EVERY pack should have one..but only if you plan on needing water..
