Browning B92 lever ?s
      #298478 - 05/04/17 04:50 PM

Hello ,
i have a Browning B92 [1892] lever 44 mag ,which i need to fit a peep sight to ,im thinking either a Williams [66 ?] or Lyman ,it already has two small holes tapped with grub screws ,level horizontally .
These appear factory ,but i cannot find any pics on net of a B92 with these holes ,most peep sight manufacturers do not list any for the 1892 action ?? can anyone give me advice on mounting a peep sight on this rifle ?
Thankyou

If they are on the left side, a Williams aperture rear sight should just bolt/screw on.
The sight designated for the M94/336 should be correct.
If you call and ask for the screw hole spacing, this should help if you don't want to just order the sight.
Screw hole spacing is pretty much standard with all the side mounted guns.
The sight for the lever guns, has a flat side, whereas for Mauser or other rifles, has rounded contact surface to fit the action.

The Lyman sight is nicer, but of course, costs considerably more. It has a spring loaded quick release button.

The old Lyman sights were really nice, yes.
