Was recommended by Ken to do some work on the 600NE before I sell it so it's perfect for its new owner who ever may be I want to sell it to go on a buffalo hunt. I am second owner first was CCMD, thank you for the help

JJ Perodeau.. Is he the guy from Champlins? If so, they've built some nice bolt guns over the years and specialize in dealing with higher end items so assume he'd be a good choice,

Confuseing statement, exactly what are you asking?
I take it that you are needing your .600 "detailed" as it were before sale and want to know if anyone recommends JJ?

I have used his services, yes, he would be a great choice. Metalwork, Woodwork, Blueing, regulating, repairs.....you name it.

He does work for Champlin, however he is an independent shop and is not located there.
JJ has a website with his details, you can easily look it up, contact him, then make up your mind.

This 600NE.Is nice but I want it perfect if im going to sell it I want the sodering checked the area near the muzzle shows me a little bit of concern, and the wood is nice but I want it to jump. That way the next owner be have a like new weapon.I had Turnbull case color and re blue my Victor sarquesta side lock 375 but if I need to be resoddered I want the best.I don't know what to look for or how to check if the sodering is going to fail

I have used JJ for work on my 577 Nitro and 375 Flanged Magnum. I now have a 4 bore for which he manufactured a new rifle barrel. Excellent work and good communication. I can't think of another smith I'd rather use.

JJ has worked on and built more than 20 doubles and high end bolt guns for me (ranging from 17HMR to 600NE). He's one of the best of the best.

On a more ordinary note, I used JJ several years ago to repair the stock on a pre-war Mauser .22 (MS 420B) after it was broken in shipping. The repair is undetectable, at least by me. He also refinished the stock and freshened up the checkering on a Mauser MM 410B. Superb job and very sympathetic to the original prewar look. Very nice guy, to boot.

I called him this morning concerning a possible purchase. He spent 20 minutes going over possible problems that may be incurred from the detailed description. Valuable

He just sent back my .475 No. 2 last week wherein he made a new hinge pin and lever screw. Load information given as well. Perfect

He regulated my 450-400 2 years ago and it is 1 inch at 50 yards. Perfect

I spend about 2-3 hours with him and George every year at DSC and he is a walking encyclopedia on double guns. Topic for discussion this year was to show me and illustrate the difference that the Belgium guns put into their detail over some English gun short-cuts. Priceless

He studied under Marcel Thys. Need I say anymore? Reasonable turn-around and prices.
