Interesting numbers.

Rigby SOLD something bettwen 150 and 300 Rigby "Big Game" Rifles in .416 Rigby in the first 12 months they offered it. I think they had planned for something like 50 to 75 rifle sales.

And not bad for a rifle costing from US$9,000 and more.

No wonder so many other makers were spitting on the internet or privately about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if CZ had made more than 2000 Rigbys on their own. Including mine.......

Mmmmm. While the small numbers of vrious makes and calibres probably add up right around the world, it can be interested to see the REAL numbers behind the scenes without the hype and BS. When the makers tell you their real manufacturing numbers. And also when you see competiting brands being made INSIDE competitors factories which make their competitors rifles for them.

As an extreme case in point, I wonder how many Holland & Holland .400's have even been made by H&H itself? One per year? Plus or minus. I wonder.

Not very many I think.
There is a trio of rifles being made by Ralf Martini - on his site.
A 300H&H, 375H&H and a 400H&H.

I don't know the answer to that question but I do know a little about their 700 Nitro.
I was attending an English Game Fair, in a quaint little place called Nuttsford back in 1992.
I visited the Holland and Holland tent and was drooling over a 700 H&H double rifle stamped num 5, which they had just finished.
Fast forward to 2012 and I was at the H&H stand at the SCI show in Vegas and retold my story to a salesman. He then informed me they have just finished building num 13. That's 8 rifles in 20 years.
