I picked up the cam cards just before the NY rolled in and had a couple of entries,one narrow rat in velvet the other well hard and polished.
It is again illustrative of how different sambar can be either hard or soft at any time of the year.Though as a rule if there is a rule 'most' are gearing up to cast around now.
The cameras will go out again today but as usual the deer are spread wide and far with the enormous amount of feed available.

Cameras have just been deployed mate,I hope something strolls past them.
They are getting well rounded with the good season so at the right time the fridge model will have to go.

Dry-ish here, all browned off, more or less (as we have had summer rains for a change).

We are as green as here 9-1-17 and its raining..ripper!
Out of the valley and it turns to shit really quick,i was on the west side of the range last week and its dry as biscuits there.

40! YIKES - going to be 27C all next week in Hawaii - kinda warm, coming out of the snow -20 here - but I guess I can handle 27, I figure!! Afterall, I will have my swim trunks. I just hope I don't trip on the beach and rip the knees out - again.

And after the hot ones we are having a lot of rain today.
D it will be easy to spot the Canuck on the beach ha ha..man you will be white as the snow you left behind.
