Here's a 15 bore Manton my bro uses for grouse.

Wayne - sent the picture to me and I'll post it for you.

Thank's Daryl But I was just trying to figure out how to post pics. No mater what I try I just cant make it work. I have followed Capt Curls directions to the letter and it wont work. It may be because I am using windows 10 or my brouser is Modzilla fire fox. I spent three hours trying to make it work.

I use both of those - NP. Once it is uploaded to a photobucket account, it shows as a picture.

Underneath each picture is an address line. Highlight that line by left clicking on it, then right-click on it and "copy" in the drop-downn list.

Then, place the mouse cursor into the window of your post, left side and push the left button to put the cursor there. Then right click- then 'paste'.

I just followed each step as outlined above and this is the result. The original ram-rod tip for the Manton above.

Thanks for trying to help daryl. Mine does not have an address line under each pic. When I select a pic it shows only that pic only slightly enlarged. Just like capt curls instruction with the share a link box. when you click on the box that says direct it flashes yellow with the word cut for a few seconds. when you right click there is a drop down list but it has a bunch of stuff that makes no sense. By the way what dose the abbreviation NP stand for.

Thanks Kuduae but I don't think that is what Daryl had in mind in his last post on this thread. Now that I have been successful at loading pics my next hurdle will be to learn how to use the smiley faces in my post.

NP = no problem. SRY for the misunderstanding.

Strange with nothing under the pictures - under every picture in my photobucket account, is a bunch of numbers that are bold black in colour and not a hot or of clickable design.

Under that, is:
IMG (then a box under that containing)

Wayne59,

I fixed your original post. Your image URL within the Image command repeated the "http://" prefix and looked like this:

All I had to do was delete one of the "http://" prefixes and the image properly displayed.

This repetition can happen when the image dialog box opens. That box comes up with the prefix already present. If the full image URL is inserted without overwriting the "http://" prefix already in the dialog box, then you end up with two prefixes and this problem. Easy to fix for sure.

That happens to me every time I post a picture. I have an extra http at the beginning of the link. As long as I remember to delete one of them it works.

Very useful nice old hammer double. If it shoots well and regulates a great calibre for lots of hunting opportunities.

I wish there were records available on these old Mantons. So far I have not been able to get it to shoot.

There used to be some Manton and Co records on net as I was able to find a copy of mine from early 1900's. Unfortunately that was several years ago and I'm not sure where or if they're still available online.

That's interesting. I was told by others that the records for Manton were in private hands in India and the owner would not share them. I will have to check it out.
