FS, 1903 Mannlicher Schonauer carbine

1903 M-S carbine, 6,5x54 M-S, made in 1935, german proofs from 9/42, single trigger, non orininal stock (Bishop) side mount scope (Williams), 1.75-5x Lyman scope.
Located in eastern Iowa, USA.

All original, unaltered, M1903 Mannlicher Schoenauers are 6.5x54mm.

The early Mannlicher Schoenauer rifles and carbines used proprietary cartridges and were cartridge specific.

M1903 - 6.5X54 Mannlicher Schoenauer

M1905 - 9X56 Mannlicher Schoenauer

M1908 - 8X56 Mannlicher Schoenauer

M1910 - 9.5X57 Mannlicher Schoenauer* *also known as 9.5X56, .375 Nitro Express Rimless

M1924 - .30-'06* *the M1924 was originally produced in .30-'06 and was imported by Stoeger for the U.S. market as the 'Sequoia.' Unsold M1924 were returned to Austria and rechambered to various calibers (7X57, 7X64, 8X57JS, 8X60S, 9.3X62, and the very rare 10.75X68), known as the 'High Velocity' or M1924/25.

M1950 and later Mannlicher Schoenauer rifles and carbines were produced in several calibers.

Igorrock, thank you for fixing the photo. I've done it in the past but could not seem to get it to work this time.

The bore is in great shape.

Is that the original stock? It appears to have an unusually straight pistol grip for an MS rifle of that period.

As stated in the original post "non original stock" .
It is straighter than is normal for the period but works well with the scope.
