Rigby Style 12 bore rifle
      #289910 - 07/11/16 03:01 AM

Hello everyone.
I am going to have a Rigby style 12 bore rifle finished in the near future done, and ready to sell.
If anyone is interested (or if you know anyone that may be interested) please PM me and let me know.

It has a good grade of walnut on it, and will have nice checkering and an engraved lock and breach as well as a bit of engraving on the T guard and trigger bar. Zeroed at 75 and 150 yards.
When it's done I will post pictures unless it gets sold first. I will be asking $3000 for it.

It will be very similar to the tone I made for CommandCar, but with a slightly shorter barrel and a bit larger bore. Also his was made with an Octagon to round barrel, and this one has a full tapered octagon. A 12 bore will do about anything a hunter want it to do from white tails to buffalo.
Sound be a good arm for making meat.

We need pictures or it doesn't exist - lol.

A very close friend of mine up here wants pictures.

OK - 12 bore - Steve - what is the bore size - true 12 bore ML at .729/30" bore or is the groove diameter .730".

Just think I need to know, is all.

Pictures will be coming as soon as I get it finished.

The bore is .722" and the grooves are .735"
One turn in 120" as I recall. 8 grooves RH twist. Grooves are 4X the width of the lands.

It should be a beautiful hunting rifle when it's done.

ahhhhh - so nice!

.0065" depth and 120" - a 200 moose rifle with a true Forsyth-style barrel!

I can't say yet. I have to get it totally shaped before I can tell you, but I am guessing it will come in at about 9 pounds.
