Not my projectile in the deer.

I was skinning a sambar deer last week and found this flattened lead.I have no idea what it is but there was no sign of it being a recent whack.The deer carried it with no fuss and it seems some clown had more faith in his rifle than warranted.
I hardly think a .22LR would hit hard enough on a deer hide to flatten as it did.

Some of the .22 HP's are amazing expanders.

Some people especially youths have 'faith' (ignorance) in believing a .22 will kill anything, perhaps.

I'm guessing it has no jacket? Perhaps the jacket was shed?
