2016 Season

Started off in style with a couple of mature Blues on the opener.

Quieter today with a single flush but we put it all together. Shooting a new grouse gun this year, an H. Clark ble 12bore, 25" bbls with a Churchill rib and weighs just 6lbs. I like it.

Nice Spaniel - Springer or Brittany?
By the fine face features & small feet, I'd say Brittany. Very nice!
Well done - looks like it found some muddy water to wade through - couldn't have kept my springer out of ANY water she found, even if I'd tried.

Thank you, Lucy is a field bred Springer, she is 6 years old and a very good little gun dog. I had her Grandmother and Uncle until they passed on. Hopefully one more is in my future.

These are my little girls. For some reason, it is the only picture I have of Lady Jessica. She was part of our family for 16 years & hunted until she was 12.
My daughters are 34 and 35 now.

Gentlemen,

Nice photos of the pooches, family, game and guns.

Always pleasant to go for a walk with gun and dog after some birds.

What are "Blues"? I assume doves?

BTW someone got a wash in between photos!
