I saw this episode when I was 15, and have liked Mannlichers ever since.
This was obviously made in the days before the Beeb became so politically correct.

Yes, I noticed that as well. Pete was so at one with his big bore M-S that sights were rendered all but redundant. An early example of the use of 'the force' to blood the nose of the dastardly Hun.
