V. Chr. Schilling Mauser 98 in 10.75x63mm (Pics)

Sharing some pics of an old Mauser in 10.75x63 Mauser, probably very few of them around.

Half octagon half round barrel, double set trigger, full length integral rib, iron sights. Gun is in very good condition with mint bore. Looks like it was not shot much due to non availability of factory ammo.

Beautiful Mauser. Very very rare in that caliber.

I haven't shot it yet. I recently got some reloading tips from the knowledgeable members on another forum, so hoping to shoot sometime soon.

I had an 8x57 done at the same plant but couldn't figure out the vermiculated squiggle on top. A roll die?
