Does anyone know anything about this rifle?

Guys

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this double? What can you tell me about it? I don't want to contact the seller because I would probably be considered a "time waster" or "tyre kicker"!

But who knows what the future might bring?

GG as soon as I saw the price I became a time waster myself!
It does look good but a bit under powered.............

My 2cents. It looks a nice rifle. However, for a boxlock non-ejector the price does seem high.

Plus, whilst I like the 450/400, the caliber goes against it in this price range. Now if it were a 450 on up, maybe a different story.

Note that it has been for sale for quite a while now.

While it may be best grade and have gold inlay, the price is impressive too.

Nothing under-powered about a .450/400 3" NE.

A fausti 45/70 for $5200 on the other hand is sweet handling bargain.

Thanks guys. I agree the price is pretty steep and I suppose that is why it hasn't sold. I don't think that's the first time it's been on used guns either. Was hoping someone here might know more about the rifle and it's owner and be able to tell me a bit about it.

How long have you had your Fausti ? Do you like it ? Good quality finish ? Well regulated?
Sorry for all the questions , but I have just bought one in 3006 sight unseen. I am now waiting for the PTA to arrive so they can send it to me. Mate of mine had a look at mine in the store today and his feeling was it was good value for money. As long as it is regulated well it should be good
