For a man who wants to enjoy his deer rifle even if he doesn't see a deer.

That is way more than a rifle as it extendes into the purity of working art.

Thank you VonGruff.
That is the basic idea.

Artwork doesn't simply have to please the eyes. It is possible to make forms of art that are functional.

I can acknowledge the statement "A fancy rifles doesn't shoot any better than a plane rifle"
True.

But it shoots no worse either.

I take great pains to make sure my rifles shoot reliably and accurately. I am delighted when they are used for their intended purpose. This one should be used in the next few months to fill a freezer with delicious venison. I hope so anyway.
If my rifles were only to be looked at, and not used for hunting there would be no reason for the work I do to make them accurate.

No mater how fancy a rifle is, it is still a RIFLE and it is made to hunt.

I hope to be getting some pictures of this rifle with deer that is was used to harvest. That always makes me feel good.

Really nice, Steve - I missed this the first time around while I was on vacation road trip.
