1910 being parted
      #284535 - 26/06/16 04:48 PM

I'm aware of a couple of 1910 that are beyond redemption and will be parted in the next couple of weeks. Destroyed stocks, butchered parts (how does an arc-welded bolt sounds?), rusted bores, pitted actions.

Some parts are salvageable, some in better conditions than others: triggers, trigger guards, firing pins, magazine spools, magazine plates, cocking pieces, firing pin nuts, bolt heads, sights, screws, even a MS tang peep sight. Before you ask, no take-down pins...

If these can be shipped into the US (or elsewhere) without restrictions or lengthy paperwork, the owner may consider sending them over.

If someone is interested, let me know and we'll see what we can come up with.

I think you can send anything but the receiver, but not 100% sure on that. The import requirements may be more restrictive than interstate shipments, and of course there are always the requirements of the exporting companies.

That said, I see someone already beat me to the tang sight, so I guess I should be quiet.

I am interested in the bolt face with ejector if it is not damaged.

I'll take a grip cap, firing pin nut and cleaning rod if available.

Oh, wait, now that I think about it: put me down for the butt plate.

That should have been bolt head not bolt face.

OK, I'll check all the parts available and keep them for those interested in the order of request. I'll put a full list down during the week, with a few pictures.

I'd be keen on a mag (spindle) with floor plate attached please, if those parts are still available.

Also the flag safety and bolt release lever if un-pitted.

Cheers

Is there by chance two butt plates? If so put me down for the other. That is providing they're bullet trap butt plates.

Kano, are these parts still unsold? I am seeking a rear set trigger and spring, or a complete single trigger assembly to replace set trigger assembly.

Hello

I ony just read this post...

Is a front sight (and maybe a two-leaf rear sight) available? If so, what would be the cost, and could they be shipped to the UK?

Many thanks

Andrew

PS - the front sight is more pressing.

Guys

Not really sure what Kano is up to these days. He very kindly sent me some M1910 stuff and I wanted to at least reimburse him the postage costs but he hasn't got back to me with any details about how to go about doing this.

Kano was very genuine and helpful, and I was very happy with the parts he sent me. I hope he is ok over there in Uganda.

I'll try getting in touch again via email and see how I go.

Cheers.

GG

I was suppose to get some parts. He said that they were on the way but I've never received them.

Say,

I know this is an old post (Parting out M1910 Mannlicher Schoenauers), but I sure could use both the front and rear sling swivels for my Grandfather's old 'British Takedown' MS1910.

Mine were drilled out to accept quick detatch mounts (yes, I did it a couple of decades ago). Great for function, but the only non original feature on her, save the 1920s Gerard scope and claw mounts. It would be wonderful to have original swivels to keep in the original fitted case.

Email is Rothhammer1@aol.com
