Beautiful type B, probably the highest condition rifle you've posted yet. I don't have a Speed or Olson book handy, but is this rifle chambered for the 9x57 cartridge? If so, it's the first I've seen marked in this way.

It's very old one, proofed in 1913. At that age of Mausers this kind of caliber markings are ordinary.

I have a Westley in .318 AE that has the same rear sight. Didn't think I'd like it at first but it's grown on me. Very nice rifle there.
