Merkel Double Rifle Hammers

Have any of you ever had a Merkel Double rifle apart? I was just curious if they use the Anson and Deeley style, one piece hammer and firing pin, or if they have a two piece arrangement, with separate hammers and firing pins.
If you have info, pics would be great too!
Or do I need to disassemble mine and provide pics for the forum?

Toby,
Per one of my gun builder friends, it is one unit.
However you can get this answered in detail on the German Gun Collectors Site.

According to the German Gun Collector's site, it has two piece hammers and strikers. Upon further investigation on my part, it's obvious that this is the case. When the gun is cocked, you can still see the firing pins just inside the firing pin holes. If they were attached to the hammers, I don't believe they would be visible.

Toby,
Good show, looks like you got to the truth and it is the best answer.

You are Absolutely correct! The Merkel S/S double rifles have separate tumblers and strikers!

Thanks for the replies! It looks like the Merkel is made quite well. I'm glad to have gotten this one at such a good price!
