A Hunters' Christmas
      #275643 - 26/12/15 05:30 AM

What's not to like?

A new custom made double rifle chambered in .405 WCF, LL Bean shooting shirt, 12 year old Irish whiskey and Cal Pappas’ new book, The Double Rifle Primer. Good Times! Also time to book another trip to Africa.

Rifle details and pix will be posted at a later time.

It looks as though you had an excellent Christmas indeed.

How about some particulars on the DR? You indicated it was a .405 WCF. What are the particulars on the action. What is the regulating load. etc.

Eric,
I am still learning things about it such as trigger pull weight, overall weight, how to fasten the scope claw mounts, the type wood of the stock, etc.
In a couple of days, I will make a post on "my new double rifle" with answers to your questions and more. Thank you for your interest.
This my first double rifle (I have been shooting double trigger Parkers all my life) and I have much to learn and much fun to have.
