WTS Martini switch barrel and S African Cape muzzleloader
      #270972 - 25/09/15 10:18 PM

The Martini is a Greener GB with 12 ga. shot, 12 bore rifle, 303, and 50-90 Sharps barrels. All barrels have extractors and forends. Easy takedown and interchangeability, excellent condition, and very professionally built. The Cape gun is a John Hayton of Grahamstowne SA, 45 x 20 ga. Cased, ex condition, except some roughness in the 2 groove rifle side, which will still shoot a ragged 1" group at 25m with a patched round ball.

The Martini comes with dies and brass for the 50-90, price $2000 plus S&I. This will require an FFL.

The Cape comes cased, with patching material and balls. Price $2000 as well.

Please email to rdsl@zianet.com for pictures and for questions.

Thanks, Doug

Four barrels. Sounds like a fun gun.

I assume SPF is some abbreviation for sold???

Post some photos of your Martini is you can. Only out of interest. Unfortunately I would not be able to buy due to export and import costs.

I assume th SAf Capegun ML is still for sale. Post some photos as well, so we can archive some examples of it.

Let me do the honors, as I am the new owner. This fun gun is on its way to Virginia.

Here are the photos that Doug provided:

And the description:

Top is 303, sight bases turned on barrel- Shilen, original sight.

Next original 12 ga. 2 3/4" choke likely mod, but not sure.

3rd is 12 bore rifle, Badger barrel, 2 3/4", works with Brenneke, and front site is from NECG, so different heights and styles available.

Bottom is 50-90 Sharps, labeled 500 on bbl, bases turned on barrel, Badger, comes with dies and loaded.

All bores are as new, headspace is correct, and all are accurate. Built by John Mcloflin here in Raton, NM. All have appropriate extractors as well.

Yeah, I think this will be a bunch of fun!

Loads and loads of fun!
Just as a 12b rifle it would be great but with all that versatility, well what a great setup.
