Our local Big Game Rifle Club has a meet on Sunday, and included in the program is a Bore Gun shoot.
Just cast up another dozen 12-bore Fosbery projectiles for the 'Oranson' paradox.
More jewelry for boys!



The Alex Henry 8-bore will be there again with a bunch of loaded 2-oz ball cartridges.
...probably for the last time as it is on its way out of the Northern Territory to the new owner next week.

Just out of curiosity, in the 12 bore paradox are you using blackpowder or smokeless loads?

Matt: the gun is a 1920s hammerless boxlock, so nitro proved.
The 'modern' load I use is 33.5 gr Blue Dot.

Rockdoc: would kill for a WR Explora these days, especially the 'Super-Magnum'. Hard to find any examples for sale, let alone affordable!
