Superb rifle although I'm not thinking it is a Lee Speed in the true sense, charger bridge and all...

Hi,
I have seen in a BSA catalogue post 1907 obviously, the charger guide offered as an option. If BSA did I'm sure the other makers would have done so as well.

This is were I get torn apart. Should I buy that one or a paradoxgun?....or how do I actually get money to buy both?....

Lovely little Rigby. A gun for those who has an aquired taste.

The Rigby is cool but expensive.
I wonder just what it was lined from? The breech and rifle in general look big for a 300 rook.

Funny that the vendor says "English gun making at its best which is as correct as one could ever hope to find." yet it has been lined.

"parkerifled" stamped around the bore at the muzzle end means that it was lined using the "parkerifle" method.

Agree with your overall opinion re: the Rigby, even for the UK top price!

The Snider on the site is also nice but again at the top end for price

So if it a LSA is it really a Lee Speed, or is it just a sporting model MLE?

Wasn't the Lee Speed a sporting model sold by BSA?

LSA produced Lee Speed patented rifles as well.I have an LSA that has the Lee Speed patents stamped into it.
