I feel that same, broken horns, likey from fighting should be left as they are.
Broomed horns as on Big Horn Sheep, should also be left as they are, as brooming is intentially wearing down the ends by the animal to improve vision to the sides. Brooming and being broken from fighting are natural causes of horn or antler loss.
imho, of course

Yes, if...
Some 30 years ago, I heard two Blacktail deer fighting over a doe. When the fight was over, my wife shot the doe and missed the first buck. I shot the second buck.
When we checked we found my buck had a broken tine. While I was field dressing the animals, my wife found the broken tine on the ground.
We took the tine to the Taxidermist and he glued it back in place. Over the years the glue has darkened and has become more noticeable. But for that you wouldn't know.

So yes if you have the broken piece fix it.
Notice also the chewed up hair on his lower neck. I think he got that when the two animals raised up on their hind legs and were boxing,

No Unless you broke it after it was shot. To me it is what it was.

I prefer the character so no repairs. Some of my favourite trophies are somewhat busted up.

Thank you gentlemen, I was leaning to leaving it natural but I was tempted by the dark side for a moment.
Oh natural it is.
