YEP - 175 pound 3 year olds are dangerous - lucky it wasn't an older 3 to 500 pound park bear. It would have had them both.

Not being allowed to pack a rifle or shotgun in-side parks is why I do not hike in them - never have.

They actually passed a law here a few years back and now you can legally have a firearm in your possession ..before that, yes..not allowed and very very dangerous ..
