I've never used a bolt gun on dangerous game. I used what ever the double was regulated with, no choice but I'm going to bring my AHR GMA 375 with me to amok this Sept and I'm starting to think about loads?
I generally like Barnes X but not sure what I should do for Solids. Thoughts or suggestions?

Look at the Woodleigh Hydrostatic Bullets. These are what I used in my 416Rigby to take a Cape Buff and Ele. There are also some mono metal flat nose solids made in the US but the name escapes me at the moment.

I've been happy with Woodleign Weldcore RNSP and Woodleigh FMJs in 300 gr in my .375 H&H.

For a modern rifle the FMJ's would be ok.
For an older (pre WW2) rifle I would stick to Hydros as they are made from the same material as the SN jackets.
That was what was reccomended to me for older doubles, and my old 375 Belted Magnum magazine rifle too I guess.
Cheers,
Chris

And I am very pleased with A frame.
