Beautiful Keith Brown Ropers on a S&W 1955 Target

Last week I was pleased to acquire another set of Roper style grips made by Keith Brown. These are made in fine English walnut. Keith's work is impeccable.

Here they are on my Smith & Wesson Model 1955 Target:

The wood and the workmanship are both exceptional. The checkering, however, is the outstanding feature of these grips. That ribbon pattern is extremely difficult and time consuming; it is something that I would not care to try to emulate.
