Who owns ...... ?

Who owns ...... WJ Jeffery nowadays?

Was just looking at the J Roberts website and they list the fact the had the sole rights to the WJ Jeffery brandname from 2000 to 2010?

Who owns the rights to the name today? Do they use it and make rifles?

I seem to remember reading something on it sometime, but oldtimers disease ...

Tom (Thomas) Friedkin, lives in Colorado, near Denver.

Run by one of his people, Charles Williams.

I don't know Tom but he has some very nice firearms, amongst other things. Also owns a Safari Co. in Africa.

I think the W J Jeffery rifles and guns are still being made in London.

Maybe a website for them?

Cheers,

Chris

W.J.Jeffery double rifles are still being made in the UK with several in the process of being built at the moment. They are being made up on a Jeffery No2 action so will be almost identical to the Jim Corbett rifle that was sold in the recent James Julia auction. These will shortly be produced as an underlever aswell. At the moment these rifles are being made in 450/400 3",470 and possibly a 600 underlever as the originals. All the work is of the best quality.

If anyone would be interested in any of these rifles please PM me and I will get back to you.

Many thanks

Mark

No Photo's at the moment.Production is still in a fairly early stage and seeing as I've had to start from scratch with this, these things take a little while. The first of these rifle should be finished in the early part of next year as all the other gunmakers involved in this also do work for other people aswell. They can't just drop everything for this.Once moving properly I hope that I will have enough rifles in production to keep waiting times to a minimum.
As I said before, these rifles are completely UK made and are true Jeffery rifles rather than a continental interpretation.

Many thanks

Mark

Mark,

Please start up a production thread for Jeffery rifles when you can. And show us what you are up to. It is obviously good for your brand as well to do this and good content for NE.
