Steyr 1893 Bolt Disassembly/Reassembly

Can anyone post a how to for the disassemble and reassembly of a Steyr 1893 bolt?

Would it be the same as a sporter bolt (eg 1903, 1910 etc)?

If so I have something I can scan and send you if you want.

here is a video about the Mannlicher Schönauer bolt that is similar but not the same

I uncock and press the bolt head against the table than push the safety and twist the bolt nut of.
hold the bolt head carful against the table because the firing pin comes loose and press against it when the bolt nut is off. you dont have this later 90 degrees milling groove like the Schönauer but a conventional thread.

Well...........you didn't. And, in fact, you still haven't!

But not to worry..........I'll assume you don't need me to go thru my stuff, find the illustrated instructions in question, scan them and email them to you........which is what I would have been only to happy to do, had you had the decency to respond in the first place!

So i forgot to reply? Why have you taken such personal offense to this as to make attacks on a polite forum? It isn't ignorance on my behalf, perhaps look in a mirror?

Lots of topics can take days, weeks to get a response, nobody complains.
Ever been to BMF.yuku? Last post there on a topic in one section was the 16/5/14, still no response, and that was a question. Nobodies getting their knickers in a knot though.
Am 100% sure lancaster doesnt mind i forgot to reply. We talk via PM on occasion and he's a good fellow.

I'm not a doctor, but may i suggest this?

About 6 weeks ago I posted a photo of the action of my .416 Rigby in response to someone wanting to know about replacement 3 pos safeties (Big Bore Rifles section ....."Old ZKK 602 Converted to .404"). You saw the photo and liked the look of my rifle and asked me if I could post another showing more detail of stock shape etc. I did this and also mentioned if you wanted any other shots to sing out.

99% of the guys on this "polite forum" (to use your phrase), would have replied with a word of thanks........but not you! Apparently you forgot that one too!

In the world I live in when you request a favour from someone and they comply, it is polite and courteous to offer a word of thanks.

As I have previously said........you need to sharpen your pencil in the manners department.

Telling me to chill out isn't the answer.

Is there any information you can share?
My Gibbs has a loosey goosey safety lever.
I suspect it is just a broken or missing spring but have yet to try to take it apart.

Perfect gents!
Looks like the safety catch spring is the culprit and will be a breeze to replace as long as the procedure is the same for the '93 bolt.
