Looking for BRNO ZKK 600

I am looking for a BRNO ZKK 600, either a complete rifle or an action will do. Calibre is not too important and I would prefer the earlier model with the pop-up aperture but would still consider one that does not have the pop-up aperture.

Ash,

Thanks for the tip, but I cannot find any ZKK-600s on there. There are several ZKK-601s on usedguns, but no 600s. The 601 is the short action and is ideal for anything based on the .308 Winchester but the 600 is the intermediate action for .30/06 length cartridges and I am looking for an action suitable for 9.3x62.

I know this first bit does not help you however a ZKK600 in 7x57 with the pop up peep was listed on used guns yesterday. Had a scope as well. It is already marked as deposit taken.

When I wanted a ZKK602 in 375 I put an ad in the Sporting Shooter magazine in the wanted section. I ended up with a couple of them, one with the peep and also a 7x57 which the guy who rang thought I might want anyway. It also had the peep. They are out there.

Can i ask how much you paid for your Brno 602? (And how long ago it was?)

The first one was bought about 5 years ago and if I remember correctly was approx $850. It had a Slee restock and a 4 power Pecar scope (no peep).
The second one was 2 years ago and had a more or less new barrel with Redfield scope and this one had the peep. It was approx $1000. Expensive I though however the peep which is getting harder to find and the near pristine barrel got me over the line.
I have since sold the scopes so I got a few hundred back there.
They seem to appear on UG every now and then. I got both of mine via the magazine ad. It is surprising how many people read these ads however I have noticed that their classified section is getting smaller. Another victim of the Internet.
