interesting - does not look finger friendly, however - maybe no different than any other compound in that regard.
I take it there is a steady decline in draw poundage, not the heavy, heavy, heavy DROP in normal compounds. That would be the only way to make it smooth - or perhaps they've merely softened the BUMP/DROP. That would make more sense as the plateau must be long enough to transfer energy to the arrow.

Daryl,

I was told yesterday by the guy who has shot one that they are making a finger shooting model as well ..not sure which model or number it will be..

I am curious to shoot one for myself--there are a few Mathews dealers in the area ..so will have to stop in and check one out..

Only $1799 MSRP. Seems outlandish for a glorified stick launcher, but I guess I don't have an appreciation for such things.

I felt the same way--but, the hunter model was only around $1100.

I still have my Xi Pinnacle from the 80's or early 90's - works for me, with fingers using 2315's.

Wow when the cam hit the market it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, now its back to round wheels!!! Guys a "Bow" has two flexible limbs and a string, i.e. a longbow or recurve. Shoot a bow that is fun and doesn't kneed forty accessory's to make it work and a tool box that has to be transported by a mule to keep it working.

its my wife who got me into shooting recurves she bad mouthed me so bad about cheating every time i pulled out my compound. i caved in. now my fancy compound is worth about as much as an old pair of shoes and the recurve still has value physically and aesthetically.i can't imagine spending a thousand bucks on a bow that will be worth less than a push mower in 3yrs. then hang a bunch of junk on it so you don't have to guess whether it's 12 yrds not 15 to the target.

LOL - it takes a lot of dedicated work to shoot long bows and recurves, but they do reward that work with pride and accomplishment.

My current favourite LB.

Sounds to me you needed to turn your compound up past a 5lb draw..or quite buying them in the kids section at Walmart, as I can't imagine the description you describe either..
