Looking for plans for building highseats
      #25723 - 05/02/05 11:54 PM

I want to appear more crazy to my neighbours and build a stalag camplike structure. A European style wooden high seat.

Does anyone know of a web location of plans? I believe there is one on WildundHund.de but have got lost in the German menus.

Thanks.

We have about 10 on our hunting lease. Here's the largest one with room for 3 persons. Actually a surelevated garden cabin that we equiped with a swivel chair and 360 ° shooting windows and elbow rests. A little comfort never hurts

Nitro

You still looking for plans - I can scan you some if yr still having probs locating suitable options.

Any particular type that you had in mind? Features? More info I have the better as there are 1000's of options.

Wouldn't an elevated platform with a portable duck blind on top work just as well?

I`ve seen scaffold towers used in Poland - they have the advantage of being secure, inexpensive and variable in height - and easily taken down for use in another location.

I have been sent some plans. I will see if I can reduce them for the internet and post them so others can use them if they wish.

Sorry NitroX

Yesterday evening I was in our hunting lodge and I forgot to take with me my 2 German books about High stands. This week end I'll take them and send you the best scanned sketches.
By the by, I am still waiting for pics of my debauched friend's highstands. You cannot imagine how cosy they are . Sadly this foxy "bastard" refuses to let me in his territory. Even his wife ignors his special highstands' existence.
I have bribed his partner to get these pics.
