Hi All!

Well it was a tough decision to pick a place to go bear hunting this year but I've settled now. Here are some of the details of where I am going, who's going and what is going on.....

I have decided to go on a remote bear hunt in northern Manitoba (north of Lynn Lake) with some good friends. We have one more opening if anyone is still looking for a place to go.

The dates are June 10th (be in Lynn Lake) return June 19th to your home. It is 7 full hunting days and on a giant lake about 100 km north of Lynn Lake, will be taking a float plane to hunting destination. There is trophy Pike, Lake Trout and great Walleye fishing as well. Camp is right on the lake. There are boats, guides, etc. Bring your hunting and fishing equipment and a sleeping bag.

The cost is $2895 plus tag and airfare to Lynn Lake. This is an extremely remote location and is 5000 square miles in size. Lots of P&Y bears coming out of there with about 30% colored. It is rifle or bow, I will be bow hunting. Tree stands with shots from 10 yards to 50 yards depending if you bow or rifle hunt.

There are 5 hunters including me and another gal who will only be fishing. This is a very easy going group of folks. One is a long time friend of mine who has hunted in this area for the last 15 years. He shoots a recurve and gets some big 'uns every year. I believe wolves are to be shot upon sight as well while we hunt.
