Best I have found is RCBS cast bullet, 5 gr HS6. I don't size the cases at all, just recap, dump in powder, and thumb seat the bullet. I use Lee liquid Alox as a lube, and they stick in the case fine. Also, I find a filler of florist's foam is very helpful to avoid the occasional pop. Unique also works, blue dot doesn't like to lite up, any of the pistol/shotgun powders are worth a try. I think the foam will help a lot with most powders.
Enjoy! Doug

I was suggested Red Dot powder is good. You can buy Hawkesbury River bullets for them in 128gr.

I *THINK* (Careful, unsure on this) the load i was told is 3.5gr Red Dot.

Funny enough, i was in a similar boat 2 weeks ago, bought all the gear to get mine going after owning it for 3 years. I used 8.5gr AR2205 with a magnum pistol primer, 128gr bullet. AR2205 no good, l

Thanks Gents ,ive been reading up on it ,and evidently AR2205 isn't much good for the 310, Hawkesbury offer three different Dia projectiles, 500 for about $54.00 cheap shooting ! Cast Bullet engineering make several moulds

I think I might look at today's loads for similarly shaped rounds - like a .32 S&W Long, which has data and since it is an old handgun round for weak handguns, the loads will be light, giving a great starting place. The Martini is much stronger and should handle any loads listed for the .32 S&W Long round, with like weight bullets.

If you want an easy good all round load with the RCBS etc. 120ish grain bullet, 4.2 grains Unique, or if you have Bullseye 3.2 grains is used by a couple of guys I know who have that powder spare with similar results. If in doubt, use the Unique

Hello all this is my first post. I have an excellent 310 cadet rifle on my licence here in the U.K. I use cut down 32/20 cases or Bertram 310 cadet cases with a lee 7cc scoop of Trail Boss powder , I have no unburnt powder grains low recoil and good groups for 25 yards indoor range. I did use unique to start with but as only shoot at short range the Trail Boss load is just right for me .Have fun Rook and rabbit

Welome to the forum, RookandRabbit. Are your main interests rook/rabbit rifles? If so, fantastic! They're great little rifles!

I'll have to give some trailboss a go, have a little bit left from when i was playing around with low recoil loads for the .458 winnie.
