That's what they will be saying about our times in another hundred years! But I share the sentiment.

Ethiopa and Liberia the only independent African states...and what are they like today for their decades of "independence"? As for the rest, many of those old enough to remember long for the colonial period. China will run Africa next. I wonder how the Africans will find that?

Ethiopia was an Italian colony for a period of time. And afterwards destroyed by the cold war and the march of socialism like much of Africa during the period.

Ethiopia should have been a shining star for a lot of reasons. Even if there were some very barbaric practices there.

Africans are good in general at complete ffffups every period or so. Look at the US White House today for the same results.

When you see so many ruler-drawn borders, no mystery that permanent ethnical conflicts are rife .

On the paper, the winner is.............DR Congo, the land that has all the possible natural ressources. In reality, that's the most unstable country and rich on the paper only.

On the Tanzanian map, I am very amazed to see "Ubangi" North-East of Livingstone.

JB's posting his Black Panther's again.

As long as Lancaster does not answer with a nude version of his "real" Africa. :O

I remember one very beautiful and sleek young girl (ie over eighteen) swimming or bathing nude in the waters of the Okavango off her canoe. She slipped quickly into the water up to her neck as soon as we came across the corner in our boat. Very shiny, and beautiful.

No mistake, this poor girl is waiting for a prick..

You can see that she is shiny because sweating a lot, bright eyes, plugged noose and irresponsive.
She badly needs a prick of penicillin from the nurse to cure her whooping cough.
]

Interested in knowing that mermaids still strive in the Okavongo. So was her skin also shining????

Shining from swimming in the Okavango.

So the doctors require their young female patients to disrobe completely? Heard of that before.
