What do you think about Nikon Prostaff.

As you know I bought a rifle 300 Winchester Magnum, and now want to put a visor that is not too expensive because I have to save again and I do not want to throw me a lifetime saving to tackle, but I have already save for hunting . I thought in the viewer of the renowned brand Nikon Prostaff model with a range of increases in 3-9x40 or 3-9x50. I just want to know what you think of this Nikon model viewer because I like the Monarch 3, but costs twice.

In short; I run as fast I'll see if I can save up for a Nikon Monarch 3 in 2,5-10x50 with illuminated reticle and I will use both the Santa Barbara as the Remington 700

I have owned and used bushnell, redfield, weaver, nikon, leupold, kahles, zeiss, swarovski, nightforce and schmidt bender...IMHO, I would start with Leupold and go up from there..currently have a coupld of nikons on 2 rifles,,people can say what they want, but IMO, they are NOT as clear as a vx2 or 3 Leupold..btw--I would start with a VX-3 and go higher..

Just my opinion..

I'll only be able to spend 200 or 300 euros, this budget will not be eligible too good. I do not want to spend more on optics in a rifle. It does not seem fair. I find it outrageous that a Leica, etc ... viewer Swarosky costing 2500 euros and my rifle has cost me 350 euros, never put a rifle a scope that costs more than the rifle itself. It is absurd.So at most you might choose to Leupold V-II; as the V-III is already too expensive.

Finally I bought a Burris Fullfield II Plex 3-9x40 and standard reticle. It was very good deal and I've read good reviews for this viewer.
