Remington's Black Belt ammo-
      #248689 - 08/06/14 11:58 PM

Just read an extensive testing of this ammo in this month's GUNS AND AMMO--page 78..impressive results with NO issues of feeding in 2 handguns. Great penetration and expansion..tested in a Browning Hi-Power and the new Remington model R51. This will also be available in .40S&W as well as .45 acp.

Interesting, but why didn't they just do the job the right way and use a bonded core? Excuse the pun, but why slap a corset (bandaid) on it instead of addressing the the real issue?

Time will tell if this is seen as just another gimmick or if it does have any merit. I have suspicion that the bonded core will rule this niche.
